Mary has the special gift of being able to discover and support the individual learner’s needs. In the decade or so that I have been sharing the joys of the Irish harp with Mary, I have been privileged to experience her passion for Irish music, the harp, and her heritage. She has the patience to work with beginners and the creativity needed to inspire the more advanced player. Excellent teacher all around!

Mary has been teaching my daughter for a few years now. Her playing has improved significantly, and so has her self-esteem. Each lesson turns into a positive mood booster, and my daughter can't wait for the next lesson. It is obvious that Mary loves teaching her students, and sharing her love of playing and music. We are so Blessed that we found this amazing teacher!

Mary has a deep understanding of music that seems to radiate from her, whether playing an instrument, singing or teaching. She makes you feel welcome to share her joy in the sound ( & very often, the laughter) she projects. I am taking fiddle and harp lessons from her and enjoy it immensely.
